"We Are Family!"

Yes, another song reference. I think in song lyrics and nice little song licks. Those that know me well know how much I love to sing, although I rarely get a chance to do it anymore outside of an audience of a 3 year old who often wants me to stop so he can sing all by himself. Doesn't he know he's stealing the only limelight I get these days? Oh well, it's really about singing for the audience of One and that is all that matters, right?

You're going to have to excuse me for posting things out of sequence. This is what happens when you've not blogged in two months and you are trying to catch up. After we returned from Colorado we were instantly in a Zimmer Family Reunion! Nate's sister Jessica and her three kids had flown in from Texas before we got back. Jess was leaving two days after we arrived back (the kids were staying for a month) so we immediately immersed ourselves into family time! Jessica and the kids had not been back for four years (Josiah had never met his Aunt or cousins before this) and Nate's other sister Beth and her family were weeks away from moving to China!! It was a bittersweet time but it was special being able to spend time with everyone (well almost everyone, Jessica's husband Anthony had to stay in Texas to work) since they will be the last time we'll be able to do this in a very long time!
