Happy 8th Anniversary!

Nate & I like to take a couple of days every June and get away for our anniversary.  We are very poor planners and end up spontaneously planning something, like the morning of.  Because of this we, for the third year in a row, have had to take Josiah with us.  I'm sure you won't be hearing any complaints from Josiah, however this ends up being anything but romantic.

We chose Lincoln City this year.  We usually go to another beach (Cannon Beach) when we head to the Oregon Coast, however we decided to change it up.  I booked us a hotel room at the Pelican Inn which I found online. It was a quaint little hotel right on the beach and we were happy with our accommodations for our quick little trip.

Josiah actually touched the sand this time and even walked in it with his shoes off.   Last trip to the beach we couldn't get him to come off the blanket.  We had our share of fish-n-chips and chowder and it didn't disappoint.  We of course got fresh caramel corn from one of the shops and Nate got his fill of Sea Foam candy.  I love beach food!

We always have fun, no doubt, but maybe next year we'll plan ahead?
