March

March was a month full of a lot of fun activities...and more birthday parties!  I don't think I mentioned that in February we had Nate's birthday (which we had a low key celebration at Gustav's with just a few family members).  We had a few other family members with birthday's in February and then Josiah had THREE birthday parties....all little girlfriends. :)  March was full of more birthday's!  Josiah had two more birthday parties and then we had Great-Grandpa Gobet's 85th!

Here are a few highlights from our month:

Noah's Birthday
Josiah's little friend's, Noah, 1st Birthday Party was at the Portland Children's Museum.  The kids spent time before the party playing and then celebrated with Noah at his "Candy Land" themed party.

Guess who found the drums?

Driving Daddy on the bus...beep beep!
Driving the Ambulance

A lollipop from the party!

Waiting patiently for a cupcake...

Digging in...

Blue frosting everywhere...

And off comes the shirt!

Great-Grandpa Gobet's 85th Birthday
Great-Grandpa Gobet celebrated his 85th birthday this year!  He is in amazing shape for an 85 year old man.  He's set an example of the importance of taking care of yourself.  It has been over a decade since he's eaten red meat!  I am grateful that I have wonderful grandparents and Josiah has wonderful great-grandparents that are an active part of our lives.

Happy 85th!

Gymnastics & Sunny Days
We had a really fun day at a local gymnastics center.  A group from a mom's group Josiah & I are a part of  had a great time playing on all the equipment and bouncing on trampolines!

Hanging out on the springy floor with friends!

Waiting in line for the trampoline...

And there he goes!

After gymnastics we went with a few friends to one of our favorite parks to play.  It was a rare sunny and warm March day in the Northwest!    Josiah & Mikayla LOVED the water and didn't let clothes get in the way of having some fun.

Checking out the fountain...

Playing in the water nicely before...

getting DRENCHED!

Wet t-shirt contest anyone?
